Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some artists can have several thousand ratings)
This artist has a Bayesian average rating of 75.3/100, a mean average of 74.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.3/100. The standard deviation for this artist is 14.3.

Solid band, nothing more to say. But Tom Smith and his voice just makes them special
I really like these guys. I think Editors started as a really authentic group; their songs were not ordinary. There was an aura into those songs what resulted in a kind of indie that we do not see every day. The first album is the genuine proof of it, The Back Room is excellent. The second album tried to be more audacious (it's good as well) 'cause An End Has a Start shows us songs that are, in my opinion, fantastic; the greatest one is The Racing Rats, very rare song. Today the band is kinda underrated. I think they lost a good part of their originality since Urbanowicz (guitar) left the group, but I still think listening to Editors is a good show.
PS: Tom Smith (lead singer) has a delightful voice
They often turn up on Rock Werchter (4day-festival in Belgium). Always a good rock performance with album quality. Love most of their albums
Another band with a storming first 2 albums, but then hit difficult 3rd album syndrome. A lot more to come from these guys, but great start.
