junodog4One of the top lyricists ever. Rivals Dylan and Neil Young for pure poetry... and saying that Cohen is a poet isn't subjective - he was a reknowned poet and novelist in Canada before he became a recording artist. He paints too. Nobody could wax about love, sex, and passage of life like Leonard Cohen. Pure beauty.
(Yes, I know his voice struggles - but is he worse than Dylan, Tom Waits or Neil Young's singing?)
