Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 47.3/100, a mean average of 32.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 31.3/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 25.7.

Three comments:

1. I guess it's because of "people" like you, that Radiohorn have the top spot on this - very doubtful - overall chart...

2. I was so happy to see Rick Astley on your chartm, mooohahahaha!

3. Why couldn't I give you 0 of 100... the minimum HAS to be FIVE??? This chart doesn't deserve 5 points...

I always enjoy a list that has personality in it. Especially in the face of opposition. Also, fallen is pretty much an insane album.

It scares me to see Tim Buckley and Creed on the same list.

There are a few good albums here and there, but the really crappy ones are hard to ignore.
