Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart is rated in the top 3% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 89.9/100, a mean average of 89.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.3/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 9.0.

Top notch chart
This looks like a very informed and varied list. I like seeing Highway 61 and Marquee Moon get some love
Lots of great albums here (if a little safe, only six outside the BEA top 1,000). Would love to see your written opinions of some of these in note form!!
Great chart, I'd like to see that 1,000 list as well.
Great chart, we have a lot in common. I would love to see that full top 1,000 list.
Loads in common, great to see OutKast in the top 10. I may not always agree, but it's still classy
good stuff! very well thought out
Excellent chart. 21 albums in common and more than a few in my 101-200. Great stuff! Also woo Terry Callier :)
Added your chart as a favorite. High rating because you put lots of thought and listening time into your chart.
