Pink Floyd did it. Perform albums from start to finish live. Kashmir have apparently done it too with this album, the only danish album I've heard of being performed that way. Fans of "OK Computer" ought to give this one a try.

Julian's most mature and organic-sounding album yet. A highly nostalgic feel to it, as illustrated on the album cover, with strong influence from none other than his father/The Beatles, to the point where he almost lifts his own daddy's melodies (not in a bad way), including "Way to the Heart" which clearly references "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", the song that his father wrote based on a drawing Julian made as child.

Abstract and metaphorical spaces with an earthly dimension of female vocals. If this doesn't put you under a magic spell, then wizardry is probably not for you!

"Screamadelica" will will make you feel higher than the sun even without any substances. Contains the greatest song ever called "Come Together". Absolutely stunning party trip, so euphoric that your surroundings will shine like stars when listening to it!

"Svefn-g-englar" feels like entering a magical dream on a starry night and that's pretty much how the rest of the album continues. Darker and more melancholic than other Sigur Rós albums, yet very uplifting. Ethereal beauty to the max!

A supersonic blast of a debut. Oasis always had their own way to perform their songs, even if the songs didn't always completely belong to them. On this one, the performances are extra great and the punk touch Oasis maintained through their whole career is extra distinct. No need to argue, it's just rock 'n' roll!

What can I say about this little fellow? "Subterranean Homesick Alien" always alienate me with its otherworldly atmosphere. "Karma Police" has always bugged me with its similarity to "Sexy Sadie". "Fitter Happier" has a creepy background to support the strange gimmick of the robot voice. A cool track, not a bad one. To sum up, "OK Computer" is more than just an okay computer.

Every time I listen to this album, I imagine sitting in the park on the album cover just hanging out. The atmosphere is gorgeous throughout, alternating between soulful ballads and groovy, funky neo-psychedelic stuff. The album is best described as a bittersweet symphony.

Music for sickmen and junkheads. It's certainly not pleasant, but it might help you out of the dirt when you're down in a hole. It's the most focused AiC without being too druggy and still with Layne Staley's unique vocals.

Dizzy Mizz Lizzy has described their own music as "Paul McCartney meeting Led Zeppelin in Seattle". Pretty spot on, I'd say. Probably the strongest collection of singles found on any danish studio album. 5 out of 5 singles were smash hits in Denmark! All of these are favourites, though "Silverflame" is above them all. Incredible, absolutely fantastically amazing song that will always keep a special place in my heart. Oh, and the rest of the album pretty great too! Phenomenal debut.

A fascinating chart--full of surprises. Ok Computer, Grace, Nevermind, and The Bends are all fantastic albums deserving of their positions here. I've never listened to The Good Life, nor am I familiar with many Danish artists generally, so that's one I'm going to try out to expand my musical horizons. Thanks for sharing this list!

Great chart. I like the way you've nailed your appreciation of Mariah Carey to the mast and put it out there, with her albums rubbing shoulders with more established classics. Kudos for making this chart a celebration of what you enjoy.
