Top 40 Greatest Music Albums by yeabefekade

I have so many more albums and artists that I need to add to this list but that's enough for now. I'm only 15 so I haven't listened to as much music as people older than me. I still need to listen to so much more. Sorry for all the post punk :/ I would love to hear some suggestions to what I should listen to based on my taste :)

I have never heard an album that had so much passion, emotion, and excitement. I haven't gotten tired of listening to this album even after listening to it over and over again. As with every Arcade Fire album the emotion is cathartic, unrelenting, and undeniably contagious. Being only 15, this is my coming of age album. [First added to this chart: 04/12/2014]

This album is perfection. It contains some of my favorite lyrics ever and I love the mix of genres from ska, punk, reggae, and jazz. The catchiness and accessibility of this album automatically drew me to it. [First added to this chart: 04/12/2014]

This is The Smiths at their prime. Great songwriting, great vocal delivery, and great guitar playing. The lyrics alone are enough to satisfy anyone. [First added to this chart: 04/12/2014]

There is no way the other albums on this list would've been made if it weren't for this one. This is undeniably one of the most influential albums ever made. [First added to this chart: 04/12/2014]

This is the most relatable album I've ever heard. Being from the suburbs I can relate to every song on this album. I love how all the songs seem to bounce off each other. This is an expertly crafted album. I'm so happy it won album of the year at the Grammy's. [First added to this chart: 04/12/2014]

This is such an accessible psychedelic album. You don't have to be a stoner to love this album. I've never heard psychedelic music this colorful and bright. This album makes me want to dig deeper into the genre. [First added to this chart: 04/12/2014]

One of the darkest albums you'll ever hear both lyrically and especially musically. Although The Cure can write more upbeat pop songs, I prefer them as the dark post-punk band. [First added to this chart: 06/15/2014]

I had trouble picking which New Order album is the best. It was either Low-Life, Brotherhood, or this one. I ended up picking this one since I feel like this is the true New Order sound. [First added to this chart: 04/12/2014]
