I often find these lists to be much the same, but they're a very good tool for people who are just starting to get properly into music. That's how I discovered so many great albums, and that in turn led to me discovering more great, but less well known, albums.
Good albums, bad variety.
Considering from the direction the channel was going by taking 500 music critics and musicians opinions to devise this list, I think it's safe to say that the musical opinion of the those 500 ppl and their opinions are valid to the extent that the list itself is quite truthful. Music is all opinion remember and ranking is based on how nice the music sounds to ppl. Music should be ranked on the overall "SOUND". In the "sound", the following must be heard:
Song writing, lyrics, style, overall theme, emotion, energy and creativity.
I think it's safe to say, this chart is a great example of such components that should be considered in rating music
No Led Zeppelin IV?
Not bad chart in some places 'Dark Side of the Moon' 51?
Grab Some New Albums
ANy way Good Chart
Seems like an alright chart but its just a bit...old. I mean no Arcade Fire and Radiohead at 94.
Not enough variety, selection too old, mainstream.
good chart
I think a list inspired by the Rolling Stone, but I feel good that place first Revolver
