Love the new No. 1 - it's an album I've found myself enjoying more and more recently as well.
Like Drawing Blood is fantastic, and the chart has Franz Ferdinand and two Echo albums aswell. Really liking this chart!
Very nice list. I love the Peter Gabriel and ambient additions. I'm interested to take a look at some of the other albums you listed.
so few american albums, long live britain. awesome chart btw
Was fortunate to live in Australia for awhile. Fell in love with the music scene immediately. Changed my entire outlook to the point I abandoned pop radio in favor of "alt rock". Been searching out great music ever since. Thanks for posting such a great chart - gonna have to check out your Aussie bands now.
Correction: it's a great list for albums of any shape or stripe, and Teenage Snuff film is an underrated classic
Lots of unknown stuff here for me to check out. I listened to Teenage Snuff Film a few weeks ago and I think it's a great album.
Hey, I was going to recommend Lifeblood many times in the past because I thought it would be a sound from the Manic Street Preachers that you would like. Then I saw it on your best of 2004 chart today :)
I owe you a debt of thanks for several albums which I saw first on your chart. Particularly Teenage Snuff Film and all those Elbow albums.
Happy Birthday, boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
