i love it! glad to see another who ranks tool alongside the greats...also, i liked seeing ride the lightning up so high and bill hicks was a pleasant surprise (not music but he was brilliant). the only thing that made me cringe a bit was buckethead...times 3. i have too many suggestions to list, but check out my chart and listen to the albums you've never heard.

This is a nice chart, and like others have said, there's some great variety, but it's just so similar to the overall chart; there's only a few unique entries. It is a great chart though.

Cool chart, Megadeth sitting side by side with Daft Punk, eclectic to say the least. I bought my brother Cold Vein for Christmas about 10 years ago but never listened to it myself, I'll have to borrow that off him. In answer to your questions, surprised not to see QOTSA in here given Kyuss made it in and a certain album I disagree with? Well that'd be In the Aeroplane..... still can't get my head round the love it gets on this site. Ps What does your username refer to?

Nice chart. Re: the comment about your '70 choices being patchy. For what it's worth, here are my top 10 '70's albums. Darkness On The Edge Of Town (Bruce Springsteen), The Dark Side Of The Moon (Pink Floyd), Led Zeppelin 4 (Led Zeppelin), Crime Of The Century (Supertramp), Stephen Stills (Stephen Stills), Desire (Bob Dylan), Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd), Live Rust (Neil Young & Crazy Horse), Solid Air (John Martyn), Highway To Hell (AC / DC).

gussteiviLet's see: it's a 1 album/artist chart and WYWH is my favourite PF album, so that's why there's no DSOTM (and if I would include one more album of theirs it would be Animals).
Rush's music kind of annoys me and The Clash kind of bores me (except the title track of London Calling), but they're probably both due another go. What's Going On? is pretty nice, a bit overrated imo but still enjoyable, might add it to the chart. Regarding Chris De Burgh I think he's severely underrated as a song-writer and story-teller and I'm not a really huge fan of Billy Joel in general, but his debut album is just precious, so beautiful. What's Buckethead like, btw? Never heard of it.
