Great call on Megafaun. I'd definitely try to see them live, too, they put on one of the best performances I'd ever seen. 2011 is a great year for music so far, you should also check out new albums from Keep Shelley in Athens and Azari & III, plus the new Atlas Sound and St. Vincent. Not sure if they will all be hits with you, but that's what I'm enjoying the most right now.

I have The White Album and All Things Must Pass on my chart. As for Radiohead, I might add In Rainbows when I get a bigger chart

It's better than I expected. It does make my top 10 though, but I think it'll be bested soon. 'Afternoon' is a great track, probably one of the best of the year. It's the type of album you have to focus on to like though. Very ambient vocals, with heavy background sound.

no it's because it was the first thing that came to my head when registering. I never thought I would come back to this site after making my top 50 chart.

Beirut was pretty good. It's was that sort of album where you just 'listen' to it. Nothing special, but nothing bad about it. Haven't heard awolnation yet, nor do I know much about them. Next on my 2011 list are: Middle Brother's s/t, Wounded Rhymes, Past Life Martyred Saints, Skying & When Fish Ride Bicycles.

I'm not a MMJ fan, so I wasn't to keen on listening to the new album, but I might if I have time. I heard Living With The Ancients though! It wasn't that bad, and just misses my top 10 of the year, (probably #12-14). And bout that Rapture album, well, I liked it at least. Not many other people seen to like it, and I haven't heard any reviews, but it's still superior to most things released this year, and worth a listen for sure.

Ya, not really my taste. I'll probably check out a few songs off of it though, just to make sure. Thanks though :)
