What is music?.... I don't know, It just helps me forget about life for while

Possibly my top 30 is predictable, with not many huge surprises, maybe except for Kashmir, Noah and the Whale and eminem. But those are true favorite albums of all time. The rest of the chart, you might get a few surprises or you may not. I dont have any restrictions while discovering new music (except extreme metal maybe). SO GIVE UP THE RECOMMENDATIONS

I'm trying to give a comment on each album, not an album review (who am I to review an album), but a comment which tells you a bit the experience of me with the album, or why I like it so much.

Born in 1991, don't judge me for not having the whole 60's, 70's, 80's experience, I'm working on it.

(What's The Story) Morning Glory?Oasis
What can I say about my dear friends Oasis. They started like fucking gods, and ended up being simply human beings. But this album has its fucking amazing, seriously y a work of art, better than having watching porn and having sex (well… maybe not that much). It is a disgrace that every single album that came after What’s the Story Morning Glory went so low in every term. I can accept they made great tunes after, but never a great album such as this and their debut.

Definitely MaybeOasis
I gave you a huge speech about my feelings about Oasis in the comments of “What the Story Morning Glory”. Definitely Maybe, its arguable as good or even better than its successor. I hate the fact, they went to shit. But as the great Noel Gallagher said. "Do you accept that nothing you do can be as big as Oasis? Absolutely, nothing anybody does can be as big? as Oasis. Not Coldplay, not Kasabian, not the Arctic Monkeys, in this country, not U2, not any of them. It's as simple as that…. We were the last, we were the greatest, THE END."

We have a lot in common, plus you went above and beyond to comment on every single album and describe each one as a very personal experience. Personally I don't see the comments as pretentious at all. They're clearly very opinionated, but you're not acting like your taste is better than anyone else's, you're just describing why you like what you like. Anyway, both the albums on this chart and the comments were fantastic. Good job! Oh yeah, and Noah and the Whale: I very much like them. Any time anyone says that Mumford & Sons is one of their favorites, I'll point them to Noah. They're pretty similar but I enjoy Noah a little more. Better singer maybe?

Actually. It was this chart that turned me onto that Kashmir album Zitilites. Amazing stuff.

Now, I may think your chart is predictable, but before ever leaving a comment, I search through the whole thing, something not many members take the efforts to do. I haven't looked through all your chart, but Kashmir was a great find. Most underrated band of the past 20 years? It's all opinion, but I'd hand that out to, well, I dunno who'd I'd give that title to.

Yeah, I love AWOLNATION. obviously not many like them to the same extent I do, but I really love how catchy they are. Not necessarily unique in any way, but meh. I like them.

As far as my favorites go. I don't know anymore. At one point, when I attempted to rank my so called "favorites", I felt so uncomfortable with having them in their spot. i didn't know where to put them or how to rank them. I came to a realization. i can't rank them because I like them probably just as equally as every other album. Now - a - days, I may not rank my "favorites" (because outside of my top 4, I really have none), but I just rank albums I feel deserve some more attention and are on par with everything else I love. I feel far more comfortable this way. I look at my chart and feel proud of it rather than feeling awkward when searching over it. That's basically it.

I agree we have pretty similar tastes! Great chart man. I was also a massive linkin park/eminem/blink182 fan way WAY back, glad to see you've got the balls to put in on your top list/explain it

cheers, sorry for the nitpicking :). You've got a load of a bands here that seriously do not get enough love (Noah and the Whale in particular) and I'd love to see your chart expand further

You are aware that preceded means to come before, right? As the general consensus is that what succeeded "Morning Glory" never lived up to it not the other way. Decent if predictable chart

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I'm from Denmark. :) Kashmir is one of the biggest musical gifts, if not THE biggest from Denmark. Personally, "The Good Life" is the first album I listened to by them and also my favourite. "Zitilites" has plenty of good songs, but doesn't come close to "The Good Life" imo. I've considered to put "No Balance Palace" on my chart, it really is a haunting album-experience. I'm really surprised to hear they're popular in Mexico, I've no idea why, but it only indicates that you Mexicans have great taste in music. :D

I love your chart and especially your comments. Excited to see a full 100 albums chart.
