Haha! It's ok, there is no need to be sorry. I could easily say 5 and 6 albums for Coldplay and The Beatles are too much for either artist but nevermind, this chart has good albums. Radiohead, Blur, Oasis and The Verve... seems like you might know about Manic Street Preachers already. Do you have a favorite song or album by them?

At first your chart seemed kinda like a chart just to look cool, but the rest of your chart somehow proved to me that you really love these albums. Fantastic chart!

Loving the Porcupine Tree :D. You should check out Stupid Dream: It's one of their more underrated releases (and my personal favourite).

But still: 15 albums in common with my chart is quite the feat. I never cared much for Radiohead (outside of Kid A) so it doesn't quite get 100. Still, nice going!

Love how Megadeth is in there as well as Elton John.

A lot of stuff that i have in my charts! I think the elton and Coldplay in the Top 10 reveals your love of all things Brit. Which is cool by me.

A tough list to rate, I love some of the albums but others I couldn't care less for. Porcupine Tree and Coldplay are ones I could definitely go without.

Well, the thing is, Revolver is almost a tie with The Beatles (and if "Tomorrow Never Knows" were not on Revolver.......well, then The Beatles would probably be ranked higher) and Sgt. Pepper is nearly as good (those albums aren't too far apart on my chart, you'll notice). I think Abbey Road's polished feel sorta turned me off a bit, and Rubber Soul was fairly innovative for its time.

There are some artists whose best album was a live album (i. e. Johnny Cash, James Brown, MC5, Allman Brothers Band, etc.) I think Led Zeppelin was the same. But I also think that that live album was the one that just seemed like the definitive LZ record for me, you know, like a really great compilation or something which seems to be THE definitive album. I'd say, though, that some other LZ albums come pretty close to it.

Other than that, your chart is good, but I won't really comment on the choices right now because this long comment has exhausted me.

Many, many great albums here, and I'm certainly going to explore Elton John and Porcupine Tree more.
"Double Fantasy" and "All Things Must Pass" are very near each other on my chart, so that valuing one over another is actually quite arbitrary. I love the "dialogue" between John & Yoko on the former (I'm a big fan of both of them), while the latter is dragged down a bit by the third piece of vinyl.
Considering ABBA's Gold, do you think it's a bad choice because it's a hits compilation, or is it your opinion of ABBA in general? For me, the Ulvaeus/Andersson partnership exemplifies songwriting perfection, and the reasons for singling out "Gold" were explained better than I could in the "ABBA Gold" book from the 33 & 1/3 series (in fact, the entire series would be interesting reading for BEA users).
