The main reason this is my number one over the other two in my top three is because of how well it flows together. This is a perfect album in my opinion. Every single track on here means so much to me, I couldn't pick a favorite. The lyrics on this thing are some of the best I've ever heard. Jeff's voice took me a while to get into, but when I finally came around I realized how incredible it really is. All of that mixed with the horns and the singing saw create the most beautifully depressing album, and greatest album I have ever heard.
Most of this album is like a religious experience for me. Listening to the first half of this album makes me happier then anything. The only reason this album isn't number one is because it isn't as consistent as In the aeroplane over the sea. The second half is still really good, and it ends with one of my favorite tracks on the album, "Om Nashi Me." It's just that the first half has some of my very favorite songs of all time on it, if it was consistent it would be my number one.
