This isn't exactly a best ever albums chart, because honestly if I did that it would probably just end up like everyone else's with The Beatles, Radiohead and Pink Floyd in a list. This is more based on how much I enjoy listening to the albums and what I'd recommend to friends first.
The 60's had the best bands, the 80's the best songs and today we have the best albums.

I do like your list, fantastic. But Dylan's a better lyricist than Hendrix. Come on, now.

If I had a personality disorder this would be my other chart. Feels incredibly familiar. Your comment about Malkmus being able to break your heart whilst not having a clue what he's talking about is absolutely bang on.

cartokena good chart and a great #1 ! For me LCD Soundsystem is more a punk band than a dance band, and they are not any band, one of my top 10 ever ! I feel the same about Pearl Jam, an ok band but not one of the greatest
ProfessorSquid 04/07/2012 18:58I wouldn't say I was complaining about Boston, but it seems more like a guilty pleasure. Just looking at your Top 10 I think it's fair to expect a lot of serious choices, which you have, and then Boston is kind of something I can't picture myself enjoying unless no one's around to catch me.
