Well, here is my best shot at a top 100. It'll be changing constantly, so try not to read TOO much into the positions of each individual album, but this is a pretty accurate estimate of what my 100 favorite albums would be.
I'm slowly beginning to work on comments. I want them to be meaningful, so it may take a while, but it'll get there.
I'm also working on a custom chart extension of this chart at the moment, so feel free to check that out if you're feeling so inclined (it's pretty small at the moment, but it'll grow).

An emotional masterpiece. I didn't discover this album until I was 19, and even then it didn't really click with me, but when it finally did it was clear to me that this would be one of my favorite albums for the rest of my life. Every song is virtually hypnotic, and it's impossible for me to listen to this album without getting sucked in. Full of lush string arrangements and outstanding vocal performances, there's more detail to be unearthed with every listen. It's also extraordinary the way they managed to make this album flow, such as from the down-to-Earth feel of "Ignoreland" into the floating-away feel of "Star Me Kitten" into the soaring-through-the-clouds feel of "Man on the Moon" (this is one of my favorite 3-track runs of all time, in large part for this reason). If you haven't listened to this album yet, do yourself a favor and give it a spin. Best track: Find the River

You find "Alabama Song" to be the best song off The Doors? I find that a) hard to believe, b) absolutely hilarious, and c) awesome (I do really like the song fyi). Great list by the way, it's full of really great stuff.
