Good old Melody Maker. For me, the definitive music magazine from the mid-80s through mid-90s and then they lost the plot a bit. Some of which is evident from this chart. Lack of The Cure -- a band that routinely topped their end of year polls throughout the aforementioned period -- is criminal. But overall, not a bad chart.

I find it interesting that a major UK publication seems to be unaware of music across the Atlantic. It's a little UK bias.
Sgt. Pepper isn't on here. I don't think it's one of the best albums, but it's a better album than freaking Nevermind!
It's creative and energetic, but not as creative as it can be
one Q..true blue - madonna ???
Not quite as bad as some of the other magazine charts here.
Very good. A great mix of sixties-ninetees albums. Just to mention a few albums I love very much - Blur's Parklife and especially Modern life is rubbish is amazing to see here, Stone Roses' debut on the #2 is a superb choice too as it is MBV's Loveless. The La's brilliant LP is the biggest surprise here.
It is far more what I've expected from Melody Maker.

So many right choices in the top 10, so many wrong.
