Great chart so far, although from what I've seen you've only started scratching the surface of incredible albums.
Once you start discovering mysterious personal favorites your chart will form into something great and unique.
Pinkly Smooth is a side project for the drummer and lead guitarist from Avenged Sevenfold, but they sound nothing like them if you ask me. It's like taking Mr. Bungle, Queen, King Crimson, Frank Zappa, ska, metal, and Nightmare Before Christmas and smashing them together all at once. They only released one album, Unfortunate Snort, and it's about a half hour long, with six songs. It's kind of like a shorter version of the White Album, but in a different genre. Most of the songs are 4 minutes long, with one 7 minute song, but each of them have a lot in them. The production is crap and sometimes the singer sounds funny, but I just love this album. The production, while not great, sounds natural, I love how the piano is used frequently, the drumming and guitar work are great, I love how crazy it sounds (the end of one song goes into a country style at the end for no reason other than it can), I think the songwriting is great, and I learn something new every time I listen to it. I probably won't do it justice with this comment, so you'll have to listen to it. I should warn you that you'll either love it or hate it with a passion, but it might take a few times to sink in. Try listening to Mezmer first, since that's the most well known song by them. Lastly, you can't buy it anymore, so you'll have to either get it through questionable means or listen to it off of youtube. The song order is on the album page.
Nothing wrong with this chart at all... Who's gonna criticize it harshly? Good stuff.
Who the hell are Pinkly Smooth?
Of the 5 albums here, 3 are on my top 10. So, yes, what is here right now is pretty good. Would love to see what other albums make it when this chart is expanded!
