What I like about these charts is it gives me a chance to find out about new music and put another treasure in my collection .

Greatest Hits albums don't count. Sorry Rolling Stone, you fail!

To much Beatles at the top but still my favorite chart from a big magazine.

Good chart, but Beatles at 1, 3 and 5 is pushing it.

I think RS gets too much crap. It's impossible to please EVERYBODY with a list like this, so don't whine if your favorite album isn't in there. That being said, it is true that there are several questionable calls in this list that could've been easily replaced by much better albums. Also, I agree there is way too much Beatles on here. They take up almost half of the top 10, which is completely unfair to other artists and albums. In fact, the 60's in general seem to be pushed above all other decades. It's obvious RS is playing favorites at least a little bit.

Should bump the White album up a bit... other than that its still a pretty shitty list.

Should bump the white album down a bit... other than that its a good list. And there's a reason why the Beatles and Zeppelin and Dylan are up there a lot.

This chart is a good chart for historical importance, but with a slight hint of favorable albums. It's not bad, it's just not the best.

Sorry guys but there's way too much Beatles on here. Seriously they weren't THAT great. And another thing, don't tell me the 80's only had 11 good albums, that's just false. 90's too but what a disgrace to the 80's. Greatest hits compilations are NOT albums either!

Greatest hit albums should not be included on any list, They do not represent a moment in time that the album was created.
