There's a lot to learn here I believe, as far as harmony and rhythm are concerned. But mostly I think it's a master class on writing good tunes and effective songs.

When the drum part starts at the second verse may be one of the coolest moments of music history. My personal favorite song of the 2000's.
One of the best songs they ever made for sure! so epic
