Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 90.8/100, a mean average of 90.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 91.0/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.7.

I got blisters on my fingers!
RIP Sharon Tate.
Heavy Metal has risen, yes indeed!
When I first heard this it still had the aura of the Manson killings surrounding it. Terrifying! Now it's a perfect example of what is great about the White Album. A strange combination of minute attention to detail in the studio and raw reckless abandon.
One of the weirdest songs on the album, Paul introduces us into the world of hard rock, maybe even punk, long before punk even existed. It wasn't always meant to be this raw and powerful, though. Originally Paul wrote it as a slowdriving, blues-infused lament.
Os Beatles nunca foram tão pesados, nem o rock até então!
Easily one of the best Beatles' songs. Hard choice deciding whether or not it's that line "Do you, don't you want me to love you" or the downward guitar riff on the chorus that is best part. You can almost headbang to it for god's sake!
What a bloomin' nuisance it is though listening to this on headphones; the showing off with the left and right channels diminishes the impact. It has to be listened to on big speakers and loudly.
Best song about a slide that I know of.
A raucous piece of noise and madness! I love the way it fades back in like a passing stampede! (Pretty cringy and pathetic guitar solo in the middle though)
Behold! The first heavy metal song!
