Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 84.0/100, a mean average of 83.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 84.5/100. The standard deviation for this track is 15.4.

This is a great song. Lyrically, easily one of Linkin Park's best. Musically, the electronica/synth-tinged rock sound absolutely suits the lyrics and overall tone. This song would not work with their traditional nu metal sound. What elevates this song from a great song to a masterpiece is Chester's vocal performance. As someone who has struggled with depression, anxiety and low self-esteem, his vocals are incredibly powerful, emotive and relatable. Especially on the pre-chorus: "I don't want to be the one/the battles always choose/cause this time I realise/that I'm the one confused". His voice feels like it's almost about break from holding back tears. After his death, this song always make me at least teary-eyed.

I used to love Linkin Park back when I was a teenager. When I came back to their first two records a couple of years ago I was very disappointed and found them repetitive and terribly mediocre overall. Well, this song is an exception. It's been more than ten years and I still think it's a fantastic track. One of the few bright spots in Linkin Park's discography.
