Brilliant song, and a great example why Lennon and McCartney was such a great songwriting team. John's part is the best part, but Paul's more upbeat middle section is vital to the overall quality of the song. I love the loop at the end as well. :)

It's a great way to end the album and a great song and I give it a perfect score because I do that for a lot of songs, but it certainly isn't even the best Beatles song I've ever heard. It's not even the best on this album.

I didn't get much enjoyment out of this song, but I know how to judge a good song from a bad one, and this isn't a bad song at all. My favorite thing about the song is the lyrics.

This is a very cool song. It's almost like having two songs in one and both are great mostly because it's The Beatles, but I still don't and wonder if I will understand why this is considered their best song by so many fans and artists alike.

I guess the two parts are supposed to contrast each other seeing that John's part is somewhat depressing (and kinda his sense of humor) and Paul's part is more upbeat and cheerful like himself. Maybe someone will explain it to me one day and I will understand why it is regarded so highly.
