Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 90.0/100, a mean average of 89.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.2/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.5.

If I was to make a list of my favorite rock songs ever, it wouldn’t be very long before I got to Tumbling Dice.
Great track released as a single from a great album.
One of my all time favourite songs. Just perfect boogie-rock/blues rock. The backing vocals give this a rich R&B/soul feel tinged with bluesy hard rock.

Definitive of 70s rock.
Possibly my favourite Rolling Stones track ever. A brilliantly sloppy bit of barroom boogie, utterly infectious, and one of the many highlights from a superb album. Rock'n'roll genius.
Taking it back. Both versions are just amazing.
Now, I know Jagger and Richards wrote this song, and I usually give -10% when I mark cover songs, but I really have to admit that, although this version sounds richer and is original, I still prefer how Linda's version sounds.
Knda sounds like a Mamas and Papas song!
Great song. Backing vocals sound really good.
