Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 87.3/100, a mean average of 86.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.7/100. The standard deviation for this track is 17.7.

This has gotta be Nirvana's best song
My favorite Nirvana song.
Good song not great, makes me wonder where the band was headed for their next LP. I do remember that Dave Grohl was 1,2,3 for a month in most rock charts with 3 different bands, including Foos 'One by One' and QOTSA 'No one knows'. when it was released.
PCP the Manic Street Preachers song!?
Interesting. Eddie Vedder is another artist that was most decidedly grunge in January 1994. Nirvana & Pearl Jam are probably the last two artists from that period who could be called post grunge.
By having Kurt sound like Eddie Vedder on PCP; that's how.
The song was recorded in January of 1994 by a band that was never anything but grunge...how can it possibly be "post-grunge"?
This song starts out great, but goes into cheesy post-grunge territory WAY too fast.
