Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

It's repetitive and overlong and the lyrics begin with two of their most blatant Beatles references (plus a Dylan title, for good measure!), and becomes a mush of indistinguishable guitar layers.
But I really like it. What can I say? Musical taste is an irrational thing.
Noel's 2016 "re-think" version toned down some of the excess, and it was interesting to hear that version - I wish he'd remixed the whole album like that. But he got rid of the guitar after the first chorus, leaving just the strings! Not sure if I'd agree with that decision...
Perfect opener
It's all downhill from here, lads.
About 4 minutes too long?? Actually it's tempting to put the same comment on all the other tracks as well.
