Durazno Sangrando is the next step in Spinetta's natural evolution as an artist and is one of his most ambitious works, a sort of Led Zeppelin-cum-Mahavishnu Orchestra concept album inspired by an ancient Chinese text on meditation called The Secret of the Golden Flower, and it consists of two long suites full of time changes and instrumental passages, along with three shorter and more conventional songs. Musically, it combines the jazz-tinged folky rock from Almendra's debut with the raw heaviness and musical virtuosity that characterized the sound of his previous band, Pescado Rabioso, but turning it up to eleven.

Exelente album! Con temas como "Durazno Sangrando" y "En Una Lejana Playa Del Animus", es sin duda uno de los mejores discos del flaco. Siempre con su posía tan hermosa.
