Over the past 5 years I have probably listened to this album more than any other in my collection. For me it’s been one of those albums that I can pull out and listen to when I need a spirit boost. Easy listen. Kacey has a beautiful voice and the mix of instruments keeps it interesting. This is a great album.

Letras fantásticas a atitude pop das músicas é mto boa!
An album that is very enjoyable and is very easy to sing along too due to the catchy choruses. The pop and country fusion works amazing together due to the slick production which makes this album a very smooth journey. However, the songs are a bit simple and one note and I find that once you have heard one song you have pretty much heard the whole album. It is very repetitive and by the end I was craving something different. Also, there isn't many layers to really look into so once you have heard the album there is no reason to come back as you won't find anything new really. Overall, an album you can enjoy in the background but when you properly listen to the record it is quite simple and uninteresting.
The party is on side 2.
Very reminiscent of prime Sheryl Crow, but far less self-indulgent. Quality Country that feels a little more genuine and a little less stadium.
Like Nanci Griffith, Musgraves has a special folk songwriting talent, with the gusto to layer poignant lyrics with familiar traditional melodies and contemporary pop studio production. It is no easy task to take folk music and make it commercially accessible, but Musgraves succeeds with the delicate "Golden Hour."

Inoffensive enough. Couple of semi-memorable songs save it from being completely dispensible.
I'm impressed by her voice. I liked the album.
The album is totally okay, no one will get hurt, no song is progressive, the songs are just there, sounding sweet and nice and you can play it in the background and no one will ever get upset about it. But this means no song is really outstanding. It sounds too generic to make it to the top of my AOTY.
