Very happy discovering this. It's a whole new fresh, unique take on a heavy rock sound. Original and different. Some great lyrics. And with a song title like 'Never Fight a Man with a Perm', how can you go wrong.

A materpiece of the genre.

Certainly a unique band, a very enjoyable album. Cheeky and yet poignant lyrics. Highlights are Television and Danny Nedelko. And have to shout out June, the heartbreaking lyric of "Baby shoes. For sale. Never worn"

Terrific punk rock. Feels like the vintage British 80s punk. Lyrics are personal, political, and heavy. Really good writing on every track.

This is one of the best punk albums I have heard in the last few years that could definitely hold its own with the giants of the genre. The music is abrasive and fast paced and never gives you a dull moment which means you are entertained for the whole record. The lyrics also give you a lot to explore with some very interesting views and opinions you can look into. However, like with most punk records by the end of it you are craving some variety as the music can feel repetitive and you feel like you have had enough for one day. Overall a great album that demonstrates huge potential that is very high energy and a lot of fun.

I feel like this album will be looked at as a punk rock classic in the future, much like how we look back on albums like Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables, Never Mind The Bollocks, and The Clash's Self-Titled record

Dec18. 1st play through of this and I am very impressed - esp the first 1/2. Vocals/lyrics are very different, but cool.
Oct19. Well, 'Never Fight a Man with a Perm' and 'Danny Nedelko' have constantly been in my playlists since I first listened to this almost a year ago, and I love them still. 'Colossus' is a decent start to the album; I especially love the part near the end that sounds like a different song. 'Scum' rumbles along with a heavy dose of sarcasm to go with it. 'Television' is a cool song and should be on any modern mental health playlist. 'Great' is a cool reflection of people not willing to let go of the past and are afraid of change.
Reading about the album, I can't believe what the singer went through before its release - no wonder there is such brutal honesty on here and some dark subject matter, but it is the themes of love and unity that shines through. It would have been easy to write a negative album, and by the sounds of it, the band were on that path and then started again. 4/5

This album is clever, quirky, empowering and flat-out fun. I love it more with each listen.

Oh yes ... there is still hope for music. Fresh and abrasive, will become a masterpiece in time
