Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 49.3/100, a mean average of 42.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 42.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 24.7.

By far logic's worst album. It's also not really an album. Many tracks should have been singles or put into a mixtape. The album has a few good tracks, such as confessions of a dangerous mind and homicide. The rest of the album is forgettable or just bad. In the track cocaine logic sounds like some cracked up version of himself (maybe it was on purpose), but it was very bad. The track I will probably remember best is Icy, because everytime I hear it, it becomes more irritating. The chorus is so annoying. I hope logic goes back to making mixtapes, because he's very good in making those.
Best tracks: Confessions of a dangerous mind, homocide
Worst tracks: Cocaine, Icy
Logic is no longer the same artist who made "Young Sinatra", he is a supbar lyricist, a fake conscient rapper. Besides him being biracial and a fast rapper and rich, he’s like J Cole with all the corniness and no personality. This album is really really REALLY disappointing. This shit has an identity crisis and it really hurts the already dwindling reputation of Logic. Logic is a cool guy, but he is becoming uninteresting, generic and at the limit of the listenable.
1/10
This is just absolutely unbearable. On 'Confessions Of a Dangerous Mind' Logic has a few different modes: worse than surface level discussion of mental health, horrendously unsexy sex tracks, declarations of being a top 5 rapper, Gambino/Kanye hero worship and just fitting as many arbitrary words that rhyme as possible into a track. The one that stands out as particularly awful to me is his take on mental health.
I won't say that Logic does or does't suffer from mental health problems but is he does this project shows he really can't communicate this in any meaningful way, if he doesn't it's one of the most sick and exploitative things an artist has done in their music. Mentions of suicide and self harm are thrown around in the most vulgar ways without any kind of analysis beyond "social media bad". He also says Kanye's talent makes him wish he was bipolar which is particularly tone death and offensive.
The beats are well done but there's no saving this album from logic, 6ix ought to look further afield. As bad as 'Supermarket' was you could just zone out for most of it but here there's no missing how badly things fail. In just a couple of years Logic has lost all self awareness and pretty much destroyed his career as a result.
