Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. The first album I bought, and my first favourite band so holds massive sentimental value - but as it happens, I still really enjoy listening to what I think is Altered Images best album. Love 'Idols'....Altered Images best album track? (Dead Popstars not on a studio album)
