Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 1% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 80.4/100, a mean average of 78.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.4.

Travis Scott is one of those artists whose success undermines their success. He makes it sound so normal you tend to forget that the sounds he's producing are completely novel. However, exactly that is proof for his genius. It's hiding in public. And however his industrial electro-trap has not completely catched on yet, that is rather proof of the difficulty to pull it off rather than artists' unwillingness.
The new school rap classic. Druggy psychedelic atmosphere and Travis' voice drenched in autotune fits perfectly. Very influential and great project.
Travis Scott at his best.
Not many albums can change the game pretty immediately after being released.
Great album. First time I listened to a Travis Scott album and I was amazed by a lot of the songs. Especially Oh my dis side, 3500, 90210, pray 4 love, impossible and apple pie.
The dark, melancholy, druggy atmosphere of the album is an aspect seldom recognized about this classic, in my experience. I absolutely love this album. Oh My Dis Side is my favorite song from it. Travis mastered the art of beat switches, darkly ambient production, and expanded his trap influence on this. It is everything Owl Pharaoh was meant to be. Definitely a future classic. 10/10 (I'm mad liberal with ratings so take this however you want.)
The production on Rodeo is exquisite. Travis Scott combines different synths and loops into catchy boomy beats. The writing on the other hand is garbage at times. Words are rhymed with the same word too many times to count. The album also goes on for too long both in tracks and album size. There is some talent here but it needs some serious refinement.
Trap classic. Travis is a true innovator of the whole hip-hop genre.
One of traps defining albums. A soon to be classic
Clearly it was a try to make a modern classic like Kanye's MBDTF. I guess the plan didn't work out in full scale, but there are few amazing moments worth listening.
