Haha I didn't know it wasn't. I am not very good at judging what things I like better so only being aloud to put 40 on the chart was super frustrating and there is a bunch missing that should be on there. If I could, I think have all the albums (and others) that are on there now, tied for spots within a top 10 list 😄

There was a band called Belly in the early 90's. Sorry. I don't know about the Rugs, but there was a band from San Diego called the Rugburns. I like Ascenscion and Red Velvet though.

Oh, fun! There are a few band names I've thought of over the years that were rejected by former bandmates unfortunately. Here are a few off the top of my head:

Switched at Birth (Good name for a punk or emo band)
The Advice Shop
Once Upon a Time (I can't believe no one has used that yet)
The Misunderestimated (classic Bushism)
The Sunshine Fund (taken from a Guided by Voices lyric)
The Hand-Me-Downs
The Decomposers (Actually, I can't take credit for that one, but I love the play on words!)

This is hilarious and yet very un-PC, but I used to be in a band that very briefly had a very offensive name. What happened was as a joke, some band rehearsing in the same place, shoved a skin mag under our door that featured BBW's. The cover featured someone referred to as "Plus-Size Nancy, " so very briefly, we called ourselves, "Plus-Size Nancy." 🤣 One of the members eventually said no to that one. I still think it has a certain ring to it.

Another one that another band I was in entertained once was "Miss Wheelchair Wisconsin." It's a hilarious story about a scandal involving a woman winning a beauty contest for handicapped women, but actually wasn't handicapped. Google it.

I have many more great names that bit the dust, but I can't think of them right now.
