Kamelot's 7 (hopefully 8!) album streak from Siege Perilous to Poetry for the Poisoned is the greatest consecutive album releases ever.

As for what should be number one, maybe Loveless, or The Black Halo, or The Mantle, or In The Aeroplane, or something else. It should change as I see fit.

On the topic of artists who made a number of great albums in a row, The Rolling Stones' discography from Aftermath to Exile (a total of 7 albums, by the way) is just about perfect.

Not sure I've tried that particular one, but I was a member of a few. There's only so many futile death threats aimed towards your mother one can take, especially considering I only admitted to preferring Tony Yayo to Lloyd Banks. It's not worth the effort, especially having to try and decipher what some of those imbeciles actually mean.

Anyway, the first three actual Wu albums are a fucking stunning run. Time has been particularly kind to Wu-Tang Forever. And I actually prefer The W to 36 Chambers. And, thankfully, I know I won't have somebody threatening to kill me for saying that. Ah, the joys of BEA!

I've enjoyed this discussion. As a hip-hop head there's nothing I love more. I don't mind chilling with rockists, but I feel far more at home discussing hip-hop. Except hip-hop forums are full of non-negotiable fanboys (imagine RFNaples' posts in the politics forum but with people discussing the merits of Joe Budden 🧱 ). There is no point being made here BTW.

And yes, your views on Kanye's run being better than ATCQ's do belong in the Controversial thread. I highly doubt you'll find many who agree with you there mate.

I wish HAM made the final cut. That's also a really good track. Should have switched it out with Lift Off, which was a complete mess.

Ghostface was Supreme Clientele - Pretty Toney album. (Ironman - Fishscale would be a killer 5 album streak though)

I'm not a huge fan of Bulletproof Wallets (though being the Ghost stan that I am, I still prefer it to pretty much everything else ever), I reckon Pretty Toney through More Fish is a better three. In fact, I love all of his albums, no matter how much I don't want to. He's just the most interesting artist of all time (bar Dylan).

As for the Lips, it's hard to find a perfect three album run. There's always something that fucks it up. Priest Driven Ambulance through Transmissions is pretty fucking good though.
