Apologies, I'll remember this for next time. Next Tuesday, there will be some downtime too as the database server needs to be brought down for an upgrade (hopefully, the final time that the site needs to be brought down this year). I'm trying to get all the maintenance out of the way before Autumn/Winter as they are much busier than the summer months, and the hardware needs to be upgraded so that the site can cope with the extra traffic.

I think it showed that I am getting addicted to this site. Lucky the day it was down was a day I actually had a lot of stuff to do, but after I came home I was devestated by not being able to log in and look at someone's updated chart or post in the lounge forums. I held myself tightly, trying to get to sleep, muttering to myself "everything's going to be ok"...

Fortunately, there is always something to listen to and read besides BEA, so I guess I survived it.

It got so bad I wrote down my chart and started shoving it into strangers faces on the street, shouting at them to rate it out of 100.

I ended the day with a broken nose and got locked up for the night.

In the meantime, I spent all day yesterday actually working. It was thoroughly terrifying.
