Couple things in there I hadn't considered, not really the biggest fan of Kyuss or Alice In Chains. Haven't listened to I Could Live In Hope but will check it out. Interesting that Stress: The Extinction Agenda is in your top ten. I took it out of my teams and replaced it with another album that's in your chart, not as high up though.

Without trying to sound like a pedant, this is not a hip-hop album. It's grime. Maybe it's only in the UK that we make this distinction, but it's one of my pet hates. Two totally different genres to my ears.

Honestly though, your team is really strong. Still got Elephant and The Rapture to come too, though it wasn't such a great year for hip-hop albums. Diary of Alicia Keys is a great R'n'B record, but after the Outkast album you posted there's only really The Black Album (vastly overrated), The Ownerz by Gang Starr, Brother Ali, 50 Cent (despite whatever anyone thinks about him, Get Rich... was a fantastic album), Little Brother's The Listening (a particular highlight IMO), and arguably Luda and TI. Our group's a good one though, be interesting to see who goes through.

Well thanks for that list of the best hip hop albums cause I've never much been into the genre, and I know you're extremely well versed on it. As soon as I saw your selections I knew this would be a tough matchup, you have a fantastic year. The fight has gotten a tad closer today at least. I think I have some good future picks coming, but you're right we have a tough group.
