Read today that he's now gone to rehab for substance abuse and they've cancelled a bunch of album promotion appearances coming up. So sounds like it wasn't staged after all. I wouldn't think it was, it makes him look pretty bad.

Haha. Green Day is one of my favorite bands but it's silly how full of himself he seems here. This makes me look forward to Uno! Dos! and Tres! even less.

This blew up on reddit but I think he was a complete idiot. I'm no punk, but being punk should be about going against "the system" or whatever, just because the place that gave you the privilege to play had to shorten your time doesn't mean you have to give them hell.

haha. You're right I should have checked there.

Anyway, I suppose that was a bellend-ish move. Used to really like Green Day. Pretty much impossible to do so anymore. I'll still give these new albums at least a listen though. The whole thing would have been much more acceptable, like The Poe said, if he used we and us rather then I and me.
