I agree with everyone that said Raw Power is the only thing they like on that 1973 team.

'73 for me because of Quadrophenia, Dark Side, Raw Power and Life on Mars. That's all pretty strong to me. I like Doolittle and New York (a surprising pick) though. Stand is OK, but it's far from my favorite R.E.M. song. I would have picked Orange Crush over Stand. Haven't heard that Flaming Lips album, but I've heard a lot of the other pre-Hit to Death In the Future Head material, and I don't care too much for a lot of it.

I'm curious which way Purple is going to go. 🤔

Edit: Weak is kinda harsh on my part.

It's just that Stand is like one of those songs you hate, but can tolerate just enough to justify not spending the minute energy to change the radio station or hit >| on your computer or phone.
