Considering In Ghost Colours is one of the greatest albums of all time it's a pretty easy decision for me. Add to that LA and Third and you've got me all wet. I really have to listen to Chemistry Of Common Life but I really llike what I've heard of Fucked Up. Blind is amazing and American Boy is incredibly infectious.

Exile In Guyville is great. Zooropa is one of U2's better albums (if not their best) but still that's saying very very little. Ride Of Me is my favourite of Polly's (but I have similar feelings towards her as I do U2). Haven't heard Houdini. Cannonball is amazing and the saving grace for me. Crash Test Dummies are a joke.

Wow, another excellent matchup. 2008's albums are really strong all the way through, and the singles are solid. 1993 has two favorites in Exile and Rid of Me, and a very underappreciated lost classic in Houidini, while Zoorapa is a very mixed bag. 1993 has an excellent single and one definitely not excellent single. A tough one to choose, might do a little relistening

But the inclusion of LA and In Ghost Colours is seriously pushing me towards 2008... but 1993 has Cannonball..

nothing exciting from both teams, but Zooropa is my favorite album from both selections and i'm not into Portishead, so it's gonna be 1993 for me, even if 2008 singles are better.

Despite U2, I'm leaning towards '93. The singles are stronger, and Polly Jean and the Melvins (and, to a lesser extent, Liz Phair) are my shit. FlyLo and Portishead are wicked though, and that Fucked Up album is cool. I remember that I was not big on that Cut Copy album at all. It's a close call. Gonna re-listen to Fucked Up, Cut Copy and Liz Phair before I decide.
