I'm still not getting my hopes up (tbh, I'm hardly the biggest MBV fan on the site, but they were awesome and new material is welcome obviously), but it could go either way. As I said before, it'll be very interesting to hear whatever does come out. If indeed it does.

It's been 21 years...the band's changed quite a bit :P

No one's saying there is but whether it is or isn't at least we'll get some closure. He's been saying for years that it'll happen but giving a timeframe of two months...it's surreal.

I think they're planning on releasing it through their website.I seen someone say that it will most likely be released in the same manner as 'King of Limbs'.

Sigh. First albums after long hiatuses just never turn out that great. I mean, Soundgarden's first album in 16 years comes out this month, and while I do enjoy it, there's something fundamentally different about it. Idk, maybe the aging effect applies whether you make new material in the meantime or not.
