Ehh. I tend to disagree. Despite 93 having a pretty average above average team(It's average for an above average team), it's not great like the 1985 team. That team is just too good.

Any team with Nirvana automatically loses my vote. I actually would've voted 85 anyways, but I must say that that Flaming Lips album is pretty amazing.

Very similar to my thinking, although I would rate the Suede debut as good and maybe even very good. That's a good record! But I agree, The Pogues and Tom Waits seal it for me. Both of those are among my all-time favorites. Husker Du and The Smiths are icing on the cake too. I have heard that INXS album years ago, and my fandom of that band was short lived and ended years ago. Some bands' music is so good, it can transcend the 80's (The Smiths) INXS is not in that camp for me. They are basically a nostalgic act and nothing more. But it doesn't matter because the other albums of 1985 are awesome! '93, you put forward a good team though. I think this will be close.

Tough choice. My hatred of INXS is cancelled out by my hatred of Suede, and everything else in awesome. Probably gonna vote '85 for that Pogues album.
