I may be a bit too harsh, because I do enjoy it quite much, but the album definitely deserves a way lower rating than the debut.

The last 2 albums of Interpol are terrible. At least they are going to re-release the 10th anniversary edition of "Turn on the Bright Lights"

Definitely a dip in form, but still better than most by others... It wildly inconsistent, but there are some standout tracks on this album... I really like "Call the Law"

New Order - Republic

The single "Regret" was great but the rest of the album was pretty poor!

Also agree with The Cure's The Top and "Second Coming" by Stone Roses

Genesis - Abacab

Brilliant albums in the 70s - Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, the post-Gabriel albums such as a Trick of the Tail, and then this. Abacab was just awful.

Also agree that "Please Please Me" is the worst Beatles album.

Some other choices:

"Second Coming" (obviously) - The Stone Roses
"Shake a Mountain" - Figurines
"Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M." - Simon and Garfunkel
"Rotator" - Dizzy Mizz Lizzy
"Bleach" - Nirvana

Not that obvious for me, I think both albums are almost equally good 😜

Aerosmith - Nine Lives... actually, anything since then has been pretty weak as well. Then again, they had a weak stretch in the late 70s and early 80s. Scratch that - Aerosmith isn't an amazing band with one bad album, they're a horribly inconsistent band with grotesque peaks and valleys.

Van Halen have many shitty albums. III was just the worst.

Everyday was in fact the weakest by DMB up to that point.

I like Ghost of Tom Joad. It's way better than Lucky Town or Human Touch. (or most of what he's done since)

Poor Tom Petty. Last DJ was awful.
