yes, that's the main reason I'll make sure this gets fixed. In the meantime, if your computer isn't totally locked down, you should be able to set compatibility view from the 'Page' menu when you visit the site.

FWIW, 10% of BEA's visits are from IE (all versions), 19% from Safari, 27% from Firefox, and 38% from Chrome. (3% of IE's visits are IE 10).

IE10 expands on Internet Explorer 9 functionality with regard to CSS3 support, hardware acceleration, and HTML5 support. On Windows 8, Internet Explorer 10 includes a built-in Adobe Flash Player.

I highly suggest you download a new browser. IE is notoriously horrible. I'm not sure about IE10, but I know IE8 wasn't compatible with all features on several huge sites, including facebook.com, amazon.com, microsoft.com, etc.

The error may not be that great. But it does happen when using the drop-down lists under member Favourites, Comments, Ratings and Wish List. See e.g.:

Amazing that every time Microsoft release a new version of their browser, it is never backward compatible with previous versions 🧱 . I've not used IE10 yet, but will add this issue to the list to be fixed. In the meantime, for those that still use IE, use compatibility view (or find yourself a better browser if you are able to).

Without meaning to go too far off topic, it's pretty impressive how quickly Chrome has amassed such a huge market share, at the expense of both Firefox and IE (although IE usage had been decreasing steadily anyway).
