Yeah, well, most have already been mentioned, but I'll risk it and throw Coldplay in as well, at least till they released their latest LP. I can understand the hate for some of the aforementioned though, especially 50 Cent (no originality at all and probably the rapper who established once and for all in the mainstream the usage of hip-hop as the anthem of a certain kind of materialistic lifestyle).

Some of my favorites. Not all these artists are actually widely hated, but they seem to be disliked by many of the snobs who skulk around the forums on BEA (no offense)...

What about my mention of Insane Clown Posse or Sugar Ray or Styx? Perhaps not the last two, but Insane Clown Posse is a widely hated band, that i slightly like.

On main topic: Fallout Boy, Marilyn Manson(although in the past, I am not too sure about now - a - days), and that's about it for now. More to come.

R.E.M., Queen and Led Zeppelin are not widely hated. They all are critically acclaimed bands.

Oh, I know the perfect band for this. Styx. I really don't know why they are so hated. Given that they aren't one of the best, they aren't as bad as people claim. I personally think they are one of the better mainstream bands of the 70s.
