I can attest to this, I had the exact same relationship with Black Saint And The Sinner Lady. Mingus blew my mind on the first try.

I personally prefer 'Isn't Anything' and 'Ecstasy and Wine' to 'Loveless'... and prefer their EPs over everything!

As to this particular poll - IT SUCKS!

I am hardly going to compare an album that I have listened to hundreds of times over the last 21 or so years to one I have listened to maybe 3 times... That's just a stupid thing to do!

I refuse to vote. We've had so long to listen to Loveless and become absorbed in it, that I really don't think it's fair to judge m_b_v on the day of it's release....

If anyone can determine that MBV, in less than one day and after a 22 year hiatus, is better than Loveless...then the conclusion I would come to is that Loveless must actually suck pretty hard.

The new album is great but not quite as good as Loveless. I do like it more than Isn't Anything though.
