Ugh I hate how much praise Rabbit Lee will get. He will only just steal sounds from numerous other already established bands (Radiohead, Arcade Fire [5th album on], Grimes' post-2015 work, to name a few). He'll be a hack that'll be duping our kids generation into thinking he's the greatest. When I shout at my grandkids that music was much better in my day, I'll be so right. Rabbit Lee you'll be an embarrassment and should be ashamed of yourself someday.

                          Some predictions:

More ergonomic electronic instruments, leading to more spontaneity/physicality in electronic music.

Loads of good current albums without enough publicity will be forgotten entirely. I'm pretty sure this has already happened, and I have no way of finding albums from previous decades that I would have loved.

Some new glorious sounds. Hopefully some new physical instruments as well as digital.

More freeflowing collaborative approach with musicians, rather than isolated bands. Kanye is a good template for this.

One thing I do know is that when peering back at the last quarter of the century and into the 21st, music critics and lovers will not perceive the music the same way that we do right now... artists that we don't really consider amazing might become classics. That's not to say Justine Beaver will be one of them. And artists who are popular now but who have no true longevity and repeated listening value will be forgotten.

But here's one guess: I do think that the late 90s and the early 21st century will probably be considered pretty forgettable, overall unimaginative and homogeneous material catering to the masses. But so were The Beatles / The Rolling Stones in the 60s, AC/DC / Aerosmith in the 70s, and Journey/Foreigner in the 80s, all of which were products of their times, respectively, and they're still uber popular, so who knows?
This is true; some research studies indicate that in decades to come, constant exposure to large SIL's in developed nations will yield depreciated hearing capabilities among the general public. This is just a downside to societies that have, in effect, unlimited access to multimedia, live loud performances, and sound hardware, like speakers and headphones, at their fingertips.

Thats right folks, in the year 2050 ruthless M.E.T.A killbot cops hunt down anyone who are not listening to harsh noise at acceptable decibel levels (>110dB) and execute them on the spot for subversiveness against the sound monoliths that seized power in 2045

Future looks bleak, fortunately we have our very own Sarah Conners in Jman. He is our only hope to create a perfect classic rock utopia.

He most certainly can. But yeah, as much as I love Bonham I'd never try to categorize drummers by best and worst because there's just so many styles out there and so much that goes into it that I don't think you can say someone is best for being hardest or fastest. Also I think if you want Bonham's style Keith Moon is better, but that may be because I love The Who so much. Honestly, I wouldn't try to list the best in any instrument. I mean, Jimi Hendrix was an astounding guitarist, but what about Django Reinhardt, ya know? I can understand trying to do it, but I don't think it's possible to list objective bests in instruments.

To say there's one instrumentalist of any genre as being the best of them all doesn't make any sense. I doubt Bonham could play jazz as well as Joe Morello for example. I love Jon Bonham, but there's no way anyone can say any drummer is the best of all time, it just doesn't work.

I never said any genre.

It doesn't matter about the genre. Bonham is the best because he had the hardest beat of any drummer, and he was the fastest until Neal Peart came along.
I can't say Led Zeppelin will be forgotten at all. Led Zeppelin is a living myth. The chances of a fantastic composer/guitarist and his session mate bassist, who is so good that he's made full orchestral arrangements, meeting up with a voice like that and HIS sessionmate, the number one ranked drummer of all time. is a VERY hard thing to come by. It wasn't pure chance. GOD gave us this band.

Here's a really weird description of Zep from me. They're like the four elements:

Page: Earth. The compositions and the guitar is the firmament a rock song, or album, is based upon.
Jones: Water. Everything needs water to stay alive, like how every band needs a bassist to keep the songs good.
Bonham: Wind. The speed of his drumming and the hard beat of his sticks is like a tornado.
Plant: Fire. The power of his voice is like a tremendous fire raining upon the sea of fans.
