From what I know, you play as a certain fictitious character that is usually a human warrior, a mythical creature, or some female with a skin-tight bra. (Nice!) Basically, you have to reach some goal in a dungeon while the dungeon master, the guy who controls almost everything, states what's going on and what you fight. You can defeat the dungeon master's plans depending on what you roll with a twenty sided dice.

Something like that.

Ooo, M:TG! I had so much fun with that back in the day. 😄 As for board games, I love'em. I recently tried Game of Thrones, but only with one other player, and it seems as if it would be much more enjoyable with 3 or more people, considering factions and betrayals and whatnot. Monopoly (or Millionaire, which was the version I grew up with. Seems Monopoly has regained whatever ground it lost when I was a kid, as it's the only version I've seen for that past 10 years in stores) is also fun, but with many players it lasts too long, I feel.

I'll admit that I actually love yugioh. I was obsessed with it for the longest time, and still posses a pretty impressive collection. As far as strategic value goes, it most certainly beats pokemom, and is just below MTG imo. (I love MTG, I might add)
