Decent 😁 That's great publicity. There wasn't any spike in downloads or streams today.. 🤔 But it's good to see that it's getting some recognition. It's a cool feeling 😁

Mooseboy said that Candles was really popular on that board when it came out 😕 Which is why I think it got about 5x the amount of downloads that MANNER did.

Maybe the same thing will happen with Who's Masquerade 😄 I'll be honest though, apart from the few ratings on rym, the comments on BEA, and those 2 reviews I posted before, I really haven't had much feedback on the album 😕 Both the reviews said 'listen to it, and you might like it, iunno', and the ratings have been mixed.

Purple, just for fun, could you tell me which albums were being compared to it in the last post? 😄

Thanks 😄 And yeah, I was fine with the rating. He gave the same thing to the new JT 😎 He gave a 4/5 to the new Suede 🙄 But w/e. I haven't heard that yet so I won't judge.

Saxophone probably. But I've been getting better at guitar over time 😄 I haven't taken any sort of lesson yet... so I plan to start actually learning guitar later this year. Maybe with a few jazz courses or something similar. Or just basic lessons. Thanks though 😄

Thanks 😄 'swagged out production' is always a good thing 😎 And understandable about the vocals.. when I was making it, I knew it wouldn't be everyone's thing. But I'm glad you liked it 😄 So far, feedback has been fairly positive.

Yeah. There's a bit of Nick Cave throughout the album 😉 "Colossal Youth' was obviously named after the Young Marble Giants album though. It wasn't actually what the song was originally called, but I liked the change 😎

And Roy Montgomery is the guitarist from Hash Jar Tempo Right? I haven't heard any of his solo stuff... I guess I should do that.

Seriously though it's a very pretty album. Nice "red wine / Tindersticks / cut my wrists" feel to it.

I'm not a huge fan of how you mixed the vocals (too muffled, sometimes too much delay), but the rest of the production for the guitar sound is great (you'll love Roy Montgomery).

I'll certainly come back to it 😁
