The two new songs are ok, probably prefer Black Skinheads out of the two. Overall not as good as I was hoping, but I am still hopeful that in the context of the album they will be good.

Do you think that'll be printed onto the front of the the physical copies or do you think they'll actually stick a label on?

It'd be pretty stupid having a picture of a jewel case on a jewel case, but I guess digital music takes priority.

I thought the first song was pretty good, but the second song was a let-down. I'm definitely interested in Yeezus, but I'm restrained and am not convinced that this will be good. Maybe it'll surprise me.

These fucking bawps and their Kanye love. Both new songs are average. Go listen to Roc Marciano.

Kanye has made one great album. It came out in 2005. He's made three other decent to really-quite-good albums. He's also been at least partly responsible for 808s & Heartbreaks, Watch The Throne and Cruel Summer, all of which are awful. Just bad. He'd probably make my Top 20 hip-hop artists of all-time. He wouldn't crack my Top 10 though.

Oh, as far as being a good MC, I don't think he cracks the top ten or even twenty. However, like you said, in terms of amassing an impressive and influential body of work the way he has? There's little to say he isn't one of the best.

I think greatest rap ever will always be extremely subjective. But, best rapper as far as albums go? Yeah he's already up there.

I really doubt it will top MBDTF.

I was pretty nervous when I heard he was more influenced by hardcore and whatnot, but these songs are both dope, so I now have really high hopes for the album.

Also, the themes are great.

His rapping and lyrics in Black Skinhead really seem to have grown, really enjoyed that song. New Slaves was good too, but not nearly as strong - I'm sure it'll work well in the album, though.

Honestly if the rest of the album is as fueled as those two songs, he could be on to a winner.

But 'Yeezus'? Christ Kanye..

I think New Slaves is just alright, but Black Skinheads I enjoyed way more than i thought I would. I've never gotten too into Kanye's stuff, but it seems like this could be pretty good, and I do have to go back over some of his older stuff. Does seem like he's been taking some queues from Death Grips, which is cool I guess, it's something new for him. Like Jhereko I'm not really sure on the lyrics, but I'll wait til I have a full formulated idea on them to bring up any criticisms.

The performances themselves were incredible and are further proof that refutes bullshit claims that he's not a great rapper. I'm glad he's going somewhere new musically, lyrically....I don't know...I'll reserve how I feel until I hear the whole album.

For so many reasons I hope he is trolling with that album title 😐
