I have to agree. There are lots of artists that I also hate(some of which are in The Top 100 overall on this site) but I don't choose to start depreciation threads about them and slate them. You have to respect the fact that everyone's taste in music will generally be different. Anyway, if you think Oasis are bad, try listening to Beady Eye!! 🤣

This. Of course you're entitled to your opinion, but why go on a website called Best Ever Albums and start a thread solely devoted to talking shit on a band, especially when there has already been about 14 threads with that exact purpose (including a Best Oasis Album poll thread that was created recently by a fairly new user; what a warm welcome)? It's a boring topic, and while the occasional "I hate Oasis" comment is justified in Oasis discussions (provided it actually adds anything to the discussion at hand), an entire thread with the sole purpose of venting your rage towards a band that nobody is forcing you to listen to is pointless, and kind of contradictory to the site's purpose.

I'm not a fan of Oasis, although I enjoy their debut. I don't really see the point in threads like these that ultimately just become an echo chamber on an easy target.

Noel Gallagher is an absolute prick, and always bad-mouths other artists, to try start a fight. Both Noel and Liam can't get through about three words without swearing. Liam and Noel are brothers, but they act like arch-nemesis'. I can't imagine ever treating anyone in my family so poorly. The way people, mainly British people who haven't expanded their tastes past brit-pop and Stone Roses, think they're the greatest band ever. How much NME and other magazines kiss their ass.

Despite Oasis being charted so high on this site (currently ranked as the 22nd greatest band of all time) many users are incredibly vocal about how much we hate them because they suck.

In fact, even though they're ranked as the 22nd best band, their average rating is 69/100. For comparison, the band above them (The Doors) have an average rating of 86/100, and the band below them (Pearl Jam) are holding at 81/100.

So I thought we need a thread where all the Oasis haters can gather together and bash our much-hated band, and give rational, thought out reasons why they suck so bad.

Or, ya know, just break down into incomprehensible rants. Either way.

Note: If you're a fan of Oasis, just leave now. We're entitled to our opinion, and your presence can only lead to problems.
