Bork is this correct:

Collector's summary

There are 50 albums in your chart:
There are 34 albums that you have not listened
There are 22 albums not in your collection

I presumed you would either have to listen &/or own an album before it makes your chart.

Good thing I was out of town and didn't see this post. I would have had to make fun of Naples in public. For the record though, yes I have listened to all the albums that I have included in my chart.

Albummaster has since corrected the wording, it is now clearer:

Collector's summary
There are 50 albums in this chart:
There are 19 albums that you have not listened: Show
There are 19 albums not in your collection: Show

BTW, for those people that might not know, you can choose to hide the collector's summary if you don't want to use it... (configured from your profile page)....

Hi, glad you like the new feature. Yes, that sounds a great idea to be able to sort by artist name on those lists. We'll try and add in the next site update.

BTW, not sure if you are aware or not (or to anyone else reading this), but you can already sort by 'album title' and 'date added' on your collection/listened/wish list by clicking the relevant column title on your collection/listened/wish list page.

Hello. The collection (a very good addition since Ilast was here) is at present classified by album name. I wonder if it wouldn't be more practical to have it classified by artist name, or if there is a way of sorting it out this way ? (same goes for "listened" and "wishlist"). Maybe a "sort out by..." device would be a nice addition.

Just altered the message that you receive if you have heard/collected all of the albums in a chart. Hopefully now, a bit less confusing.

OK I now get the collector's summary. But it sure wasn't clear until I used the Show hyperlink.

❓ The collector's summary does what? When I look at my chart it shows:

Collector's summary
There are 50 albums in this chart:
There are 0 albums that you have not listened: Show
There are 0 albums not in your collection: Show

I thought that meant I have in my collection all the albums on my chart and have listened to all of the albums on my chart.

I was questioning the collector's summary I saw on Bork's chart. Could he really have listed 34 albums on his chart that he had not listened to and 22 albums not in his collection?

🙄

the collector's summary is shown in relation to albums in *your* collection (not the chart creator) to help identify albums *you* haven't heard...

There are 20 albums in *this* chart:
There are 14 albums that *you* have not listened: Show
There are 14 albums not in *your* collection: Show

*emphasis added

perhaps it could be worded slightly differently if it is confusing

Good spot Bork, I think this is now fixed (just uploaded a patch).

Probably several of them. Don't you ever walk by a record store, browse through the discount rack and find a dozen albums or so that you want, pick them up and bring them home to that big pile of records you picked up last time and will not likely get around to listening to in any near future?

I agree with Bork about automatically selecting listened for albums rated. I still think that MOST people listen to MOST albums in their collection. Bork, do you have a squirrel in your family tree? 😉
